AhGeeBe makes a return this year with his brand new single Out On The Run.

Welsh born singer-songwriter AhGeeBe released his latest single Out On The Run via Clwb Music on September 8th.

Lap-steel-infused, Americana-inspired Out On The Run, takes you on a mellow trip through the yearning for home and the people you love. The calm is broken by soaring guitars that provide a musically sharp contrast before building to a stunning and flawless brass finish.

AhGeeBe explains; “The song was written a few years ago during a particularly gruelling year touring across America and Europe. I was home for a week or so and went for a long walk up the Garth Mountain [near my home village] to clear my head. I made a bunch of mumbling voice notes with this melody and some vague lyrics which eventually became this song.”.

With support for his singles, Cocoona and Adain Ystlum (Batwing), from Huw Stephens, Adam Walton, and Bethan Elfyn across BBC Radio Wales, Tom Robinson on BBC 6 Music, and the team at BBC Radio Cymru, Out On The Run sees AhGeeBe poised to scoop even more praise from a slew of new press and fans.

Out On The Run already received its debut spin from Adam Walton on his BBC Radio Wales BBC Introducing show, with Adam labelling it as; "Moving, tranquil, and beautiful".

“I guess it’s a classic old time sort of song about that feeling of being pulled back home and to the people you love, and how hard it is being away” AhGeeBe continues. “You question whether you’re in the right place, trying to get a perspective on what it actually is you want out of life.” AhGeeBe continues.

AhGeeBe describes Out On The Run as "Quite a personal love song, but also a love song for anyone that might feel a bit lost, low or directionless, but can hopefully be uplifting".
